We met Donna before our wedding to discuss our story and what we are like as individuals and as a couple. We were given a variety of options for vows and rituals for the ceremony. Donna knew how to get to know us and how we felt about each other beyond the surface in such a short amount of time through the subtle questions she asked. Donna made our ceremony light-hearted and fun, which is what we wanted. Before the ceremony, Donna came out to greet me and even helped clean a mark on my dress that my daughter had accidentally made on the way to the venue. So not only was she our celebrant, but she was a very good supporter to both me and my husband before the ceremony began. Donna was absolutely fantastic as our wedding celebrant. Donna went over everything from planning and questioning to understand our needs and the small details that were important to us in the wedding. Donna ensured, no matter how small, that if it was important to us, Donna would make sure it was taken care of. On the day, Donna was amazing, and all the guests afterwards said it was a great mix of traditional wedding ceremony and a touch of fun humour, and most importantly, memorable and detailed regarding our requests. Donna Lynch was absolutely fantastic as Celebrant at our wedding. After a few video calls, our meet up beforehand felt like we'd known each other for years. She listened to all we had to say and helped whenever we needed. Nothing was too much trouble. She is so bubbly and charismatic and was perfect for our theme of " fun and cheerful " for our wedding. We honestly couldn't have had anyone more perfect. All the guests asked after her, they also thought her fun personality just set the theme perfectly. I couldn't recommend her enough. Go on, choose Donna; you won't be disappointed.
Donna married us on the 9th of July 2026. From our first meeting, Donna was so friendly and warm. We were nervous bookers as we didn't know what to expect, but Donna put our minds at ease very quickly. She captured our story perfectly and was very inquisitive, which was great to have the opportunity to share our life with her. The ceremony was unmatched; everyone was laughing and crying, and she made it so personal for us. I have had many people let me know how amazing they thought Donna was throughout the day. I can't recommend Donna enough. She has the capacity, the will, and the toolkit to conduct any manner of ceremony that any couple can think of. Whether that's a big all-singing, all-dancing shindig or a wee private and personal elopement, Donna will have you covered. She will take the time that is needed to make sure your wedding is yours, and doesn't regurgitate the same old mundane ceremonies. From the moment we first communicated, I knew Donna was the right person to be our celebrant. She understood us completely. We are a very unconventional couple and disliked the idea of having a "normal" wedding. She made the whole process of planning our ceremony so simple and stress-free. I would highly recommend any other couples who are planning an elopement to consider Donna, as she was so kind and non-judgemental and we felt listened to and respected through the whole process. Donna even provided witnesses for us, so our wedding was kept to just ourselves and our children, something we would not have been able to do if organising with a registrar. We were able to get married in a special location for us, and the wedding was 100% the way we imagined it would be. She guided through planning rituals and our vows and everything was made so effortless through her. It was clear from the beginning of the process that Donna was so passionate about her work, and loved every second of it. This really showed in our meetings together and on the day itself. She came across as the type of person who delighted in making other people happy and making them feel special. Can not recommend her enough. We are so happy we chose her.

Donna provided a kind and warm service for my mums funeral. Donna had met my mum at a wedding and she remembered her, which brought a real genuine feel to her words. Donna conducted our very small and intimate wedding at Achray House in April. The service was all we could have wanted and she wove the information we had given her into a beautiful service. A friend said he never got emotional at weddings, but he did at our. We cannot recommend Donna highly enough; she made a special event truly magical.

I contacted Celebrant Scotland with a message explaining how I was having to change our wedding plans due to my mum being confined to bed, and I didn't want to be married without her being part of my wedding. We were hoping to organise our wedding at my mum & dad's home. Immediately, this amazing woman returned a message saying she had read my message, and she wanted to help us make this happen This amazing woman was Donna Lynch, who very quickly became our celebrant and beautiful friend 🧡 I honestly can't find the words to describe how beautiful and amazing Donna actually is. She helped us plan and make our day the most intimate and beautiful ceremony we could ever possibly dream of 💜 My husband Paul & I were married on Saturday, 8th November, in my mum and dad's home, my family home, together with close family and friends. It was a very emotional and wonderful day. Donna helped us plan the most beautiful ceremony with the warming of the rings, handfastening, and unity candles. We planned our vows and had so much fun as Donna asked us questions about each other. Donna then put it all together and gave us all a good giggle at things we secretly told her 💜. I was extremely emotional and nervous. Donna prepared me and massively helped me through my nerves. She is just the most beautiful, gentle, and amazing woman, and she has become one of our treasured friends. We couldn't have dreamed of having any other celebrant as amazing as she was. We hired Donna to marry us last year for our wedding on Saturday. it was the best decision we made in the entirety of our wedding planning. Donna made our day special with her unique ceremony, and we cannot recommend her enough. Although she would have had more than just our wedding to prepare for, we never got that impression from her for even a second. She was always there if we had any questions, and it felt like our wedding was all that mattered to her!
Donna was a fabulous celebrant. Lots of our guests commented on her performance of the ceremony. It was very personal to us and she kept everyone entertained when we were a little late. We met Donna at the wedding exhibition at SECC at this point, we hadn’t thought about the ceremony and how we wanted this to be…we clicked with Donna immediately and started our journey towards our wedding day. Donna has been incredible to work with, keeping us on track and setting out video calls to support us and capture our story. Our ceremony was filled with laughter, emotion and a lot of love. Donna was incredible and made our ceremony very special to us. We are so grateful we met Donna!!.
Well... What can we say about Donna? What CAN'T we say is more like it!! From the first video chat, where we gelled instantly, to our eventual ceremony, where we travelled to our ceremony venue together, Donna was our absolute rock. No question too bothersome, no concern too menial. Donna supported us through the many months and ensured we had exactly the ceremony we wanted - with all the boring legal bits necessary arranged in good time so we could avoid any stress or worry as we got closer to our big day. Donna spent so much time and effort getting to know us both individually and as a couple. She had us really thinking about the nuances of our relationship and asking questions of each other we had not considered before in our 12 years together. I truly believe this helped bring us even closer, strengthened our bond and ultimately elevated our deeper understanding of one another before the big day arrived. We came out of this with a fresh appreciation for our relationship together. Fast forward to the day of the ceremony and boy, did the heavens open for us! Despite this, Donna was on top form. She may grudge me for saying this but yes - she can work in adverse conditions and was seemingly happy to do so haha! All our guests gave glowing commendations on the warm and personable ceremony she created for us. In the end, we feel like we were married by a friend we had known for years. There is absolutely nothing nicer than that and can only be achieved by a very special type of person. Donna - you touched our hearts and joined them together. You have our lifelong gratitude. Donna was the celebrant at our wedding in June, and from our first Zoom call right through to the wedding day, Donna was so friendly, supportive, and always at the end of the phone to answer any questions, big or small (and boy did we have a lot of questions!) Donna took the time to really get to know us both and wrote and performed the most beautiful wedding ceremony. We were over the moon with how smoothly the ceremony went, and we received so many compliments about Donna, how nice she was, and how wonderful the ceremony was delivered! She has been in constant contact, covering every single detail, making sure our day was top-notch and got both of us down to a T. Donna was so amazing to work with! She went above and beyond to help 1.) make our day everything we dreamed of and 2.) keep us calm in a few stressful situations. Donna took the time out of her day to meet with us several times both on zoom and in person. Donna organised every step extremely efficiently, by keeping us on the right track with paperwork for the wedding, and my personal favourite, all the different ideas she had for our ceremony. There are so many options and whatever you decide, Donna will make it perfect for you. Donna gave us her time to properly get to know us, she really cared about every detail of our relationship. It was so much fun talking about it all. When it came to our big day, we wanted something very small and intimate. That is exactly what we got. The ceremony that Donna wrote was beautiful and captured who we are as a couple perfectly. I think I'm running out of space and I could go on and on and on. Donna is absolutely amazing! She’s the only celebrant I’d ever recommend. She arranged professional online meetings with us to allow us to ask 1001 questions prior to our wedding. She got to know us which was evident on the day. She suggested so many aspects to the ceremony like tying of the knot, jumping the broom and sipping from the quaich. We even played a trick on the best man giving him a box of cuff links when he thought he was presenting the rings!! It was all good fun, heartfelt, emotional and exceptionally beautiful. Donna is a professional and I’d recommend her highly!
